Things that piss me off #1



This is going to be the first of many many things that piss me off to no end. Feel free to comment and share your views.

UGHHHH..I know why we have them and I agree that its pretty effective in preventing spam but what makes me hate them is that sometimes the captchas are so dam hard to read. And when you go for the refresh, it gives you another even harder one. Sure the process of refreshing it till you get a readable one is short but its annoying. Especially when some other captchas are so simple. Or the ones that say what is 2+2? Use those please!!

    Safelink.net uses a great system. You just have to drag one of three objects into a circle and you are done. Ohter pages, you no heard of it?

    I've seen the safelink ones before, they're awesome. I often wonder why most websites that use captchas don't use safelink ones.

    Yeah, captchas are a real pain in the ass, especially the ones that have characters that aren't even on most keyboards.

    there are ways around them you know? I have a system setup so I never have to worry about captchas

    I don't hate capchas, but I'm terrible at them. I always over-think the calligraphy and end up typing something stupid. However, since you happen to hate something that makes me feel stupid, I am following your fine blog now!
