Recording The Police is a Dangerous but Necessary Thing to Do

I agree. Police are getting out of hand. And with laws in certain areas forbidding recording of police only makes it worse.

Just search for police brutality or misconduct and you will find numerous videos of beatings assaults and abuse of power, even against minors. Sad thing is a lot of these cops are found not guilty and their actions justified. Cops using their powers for sexual favors from women and even rape.

Or Google that guy who was restrained and pepper sprayed to death.

Well yeah. What do you guys think. Leave a comment below.

  1. I find it so hard to watch these videos, can't imagine that's what their job description reads.

  2. "are" getting out of hand? Police have been abusing power for as long as they've had it. Maybe it's just becoming more obvious in the age of pocket sized video cameras.

  3. I'm afraid of the police. The power gets to their head and they exercise it in the worst way possible.

It's common in NY to get pulled over and not open your window. You call a second police. Rapings and harrassment done by police officers is becoming all too common.

  5. What bothers me the most is theres no group of cops out there saying there appalled by other cops actions! (which seems to point to all the cops being in on it!)

  6. Police brutality always makes me sick, especially when it's on camera. These people will still do that stuff even though they know the world is watching.

  9. If they're doing their job correctly then they should have nothing to fear from being filmed...

  12. Police brutality is getting out of hand and it's only getting worse.

Something needs to be done before riots happen and all the cops in an area are massacred.

  13. Ok so I only watched the first few seconds, but the guy with the crowbar jumped at the cop, and I assume just robbed or attempted to rob that store, so they had the right to shoot him. Should they have? Probably not, tasing would have been the correct thing to do, especially if he just kept walking away. Now then, if he was not robbing the store or threatening anyone, they dog should have been kept in the car and they should not have even bothered him.

Police brutality is wrong, however, lets be honest here. Most cops are scum of the earth, bullies who never got anywhere in life and ended up being cops so they wouldn't have to work at McDonald's. They get pressure every day, and try to hold on to the last bit of power that they can. Since they already have short fuses, they are bound to blow very quickly and hurt someone in their position of power. This will continue to happen for a long time unless we actually start to punish cops that abuse power, not just give them slaps on the wrist.
